Machine Documents International Shipping and Delivery
Review the questions that affect an international equipment order, from machine identification and documentation to packing, delivery terms and receiving checks.
Are CE conformity and Stage V engine approval the same thing?
They address different requirements. CE conformity concerns the applicable requirements for the complete product; EU Stage V concerns relevant non-road engine emissions. A remote-controlled mower can also involve radio-equipment requirements. For a purchase, match the machine, engine and controller to the documentation required for the intended destination.
Does a laboratory report alone complete CE conformity?
A test report can support a conformity assessment, but it is not the complete product-conformity process. Applicable legislation, technical documentation, instructions, marking and the declaration need to match the product. Evaluate the actual documents for the supplied configuration rather than treating a generic certificate image as proof for every model.
Does a Stage V engine approval cover a United States order?
United States engine and equipment requirements need to be considered for the actual engine category and destination. EU Stage V information does not replace the relevant EPA certification or other applicable US requirements. Confirm the intended market before selecting the engine and documentation, including any additional state requirements that apply.
What documents matter for the wireless remote control?
Radio-equipment requirements depend on the destination and the installed transmitter and receiver. Identification, operating frequencies and applicable conformity information should match the supplied system. Changing a radio system can affect the machine's documentation. Discuss the destination with the order rather than assuming one controller version is suitable everywhere.
Can the same mower configuration be supplied to every country?
Engine, radio, electrical and documentation requirements can vary by destination. Available configurations and delivery arrangements need to be matched to the actual order. Provide the delivery country during selection so the relevant machine version can be considered before payment and shipping. A translated webpage alone does not establish local-market suitability.
Which manuals should accompany the machine?
The supplied-machine instructions should identify operation, safety, setup and relevant maintenance, with engine and component instructions where required. Their language and version must suit the order and applicable requirements. GreenShine's manual resources provide an access point; confirm the documents for the exact machine and engine configuration in the order.
Which machinery and noise requirements apply to an EU order?
Requirements depend on the machine, configuration and when it is placed on the market. The European Commission states that Machinery Regulation EU 2023/1230 applies mandatorily from 20 January 2027. For a specific order, identify the applicable machinery, noise and other product requirements and use conformity documents matched to the supplied machine.
How do I check that a document matches the mower?
Compare the product and manufacturer identification, model scope, engine or controller references, document date and relevant markings with the supplied machine. Check whether the declaration or report actually covers the configuration being ordered. A file title or certificate logo is less useful than matching these details across the machine and documents.
Can an engine or controller substitution affect documentation?
Yes. A change can affect emissions, radio, electrical or complete-machine conformity requirements as well as operation and service. Treat substitutions as configuration changes that need review before supply. Keep the final order specification and document set aligned rather than retaining paperwork for the original component automatically.
What should I consider for a private-label mower order?
Agree the product identification, brand presentation, manuals, labels and required technical documents together. The responsibilities of the parties depend on the market and supply arrangement. Branding is more than replacing a sticker. Confirm the actual configuration and applicable obligations before using a private-label machine in the target market.
What is the difference between net and shipping weight?
Net weight describes the machine under the stated specification. Gross or packed weight includes the agreed packaging and included items. Freight calculations may also use shipment dimensions or a chargeable-weight method. Use the packing details for the exact order when arranging transport or unloading rather than substituting a bare-machine figure.
Are machine dimensions the same as crate dimensions?
No. Guards, lifting points, accessories and the packing structure can change the shipment size. Compare overall operating dimensions for access and packed dimensions for freight and receiving arrangements. Use the final packing information associated with the selected model and included items.
What equipment will I need to unload the mower?
Plan unloading from the actual packed weight, dimensions, vehicle access and approved handling points. A forklift, crane or other equipment must have suitable capacity and the correct method for the package. Do not assume that a crate has usable lifting pockets without confirmation. Arrange unloading before the shipment arrives.
Does every wooden crate require fumigation?
International wood-packaging rules depend on the material and destination requirements. ISPM 15 covers relevant raw-wood packaging and excludes certain processed materials such as plywood; compliant treatment is not limited to fumigation. Check the actual crate construction and required marking or treatment for the shipment.
Are lithium and lead-acid batteries shipped under the same rules?
Battery chemistry, design, condition and transport mode affect the requirements. Lithium and lead-acid batteries should not be treated as the same shipment description. Provide the actual battery information to the carrier and use the applicable documents and preparation for that route. A machine containing a battery may have different requirements from a loose battery shipment.
Are fuel and oil handled the same way for transport?
Fuel and engine oil have different functions and transport considerations. Preparation depends on the machine, route and carrier requirements. Follow the agreed shipping preparation and receiving instructions, including any fluids that need checking or filling before use. Do not assume that an engine delivered without fuel is also empty of oil, or the reverse.
Does the freight price include delivery to my site and import taxes?
The quotation should state the named delivery place, Incoterms rule and cost responsibilities. Under DAP, import clearance and import charges normally remain with the buyer; DDP assigns these to the seller, subject to the agreed arrangement and ability to perform it. Unloading also needs clarification. Compare the full delivery terms rather than the freight figure alone.
What customs code and import taxes apply?
Classification and charges depend on the actual machine and importing country, including the relevant tariff schedule, origin and tax treatment. Use the product description and commercial documents for the order with the destination customs adviser or broker. A code used in another country is not a complete local landed-cost calculation.
What is the difference between production lead time and transit time?
Production lead time concerns preparing the machine for dispatch. Transit time concerns the transport leg and may not include customs, appointments or final delivery. The order schedule should identify these stages and its starting conditions. Use a route-specific estimate instead of presenting a sea-transit figure as the complete order-to-door time.
What should I do if the crate arrives damaged or parts are missing?
Record the condition before and during unpacking, keep the packaging and shipping documents, and note visible damage with the carrier under the relevant procedure. Compare included items with the packing list and contact GreenShine promptly with the order reference and photographs. Do not operate a machine with suspected safety-related transport damage.
