1. Read the supplied manual before operation
Operators must read, understand, and follow the supplied operator manual, safety labels, warning signs, maintenance instructions, and any machine-specific documentation before starting, moving, cutting, inspecting, cleaning, transporting, or servicing the machine.
2. Trained and responsible operators only
Machines should be operated only by trained, responsible, and physically capable persons who understand the machine controls, emergency stop functions, site hazards, safe distance, bystander control, and correct operating procedures.
Children, untrained persons, impaired persons, and unauthorized persons must not operate or remain close to the machine during operation.
3. Inspect the site before work
Before operation, inspect the working area for people, animals, vehicles, stones, wire, metal objects, glass, hidden obstacles, holes, soft ground, water, unstable edges, excessive slope, traffic exposure, overhead hazards, and any condition that could create danger or damage.
Do not operate where the site, slope, visibility, ground condition, vegetation density, weather, access, or nearby activity makes safe control uncertain.
4. Keep a safe distance
Remote operation does not remove the need for safe distance. Keep the operator, bystanders, animals, vehicles, buildings, glass, and vulnerable property away from the cutting area, discharge area, and machine travel path. Stop work if anyone enters the risk area.
5. Use the machine only within its intended scope
Use the machine only for its intended vegetation maintenance purpose and within the limits confirmed by the supplied manual, written product specification, and confirmed machine configuration. Do not use the machine for carrying people, towing beyond its intended use, pushing unsafe objects, clearing unknown debris, or working in conditions outside the machine scope.
6. No unauthorized modification
Do not modify the machine, guards, controls, remote-control system, wiring, emergency stop functions, cutting system, engine, battery system, hydraulic system, decals, or safety devices without written approval from GREEN SHINE. Unauthorized modification may create serious danger, damage the machine, affect compliance, and void warranty coverage.
7. Maintenance and pre-use checks
Inspect the machine before use. Check guards, blades or flails, belts, tracks, fasteners, fuel, oil, battery condition, remote-control response, emergency stop function, hydraulic movement where applicable, and visible damage. Do not operate a damaged, leaking, unstable, incomplete, or abnormal machine.
8. Personal protective equipment
Operators and nearby personnel should use appropriate protective equipment for the work environment, which may include eye protection, hearing protection, safety footwear, gloves, high-visibility clothing, and other site-required protection.
9. Roadside, slope, and commercial work
Roadside, embankment, slope, public-area, contractor, municipal, and commercial work may require additional traffic control, site permits, exclusion zones, spotters, signage, insurance, local compliance, and professional risk assessment. The customer or operator is responsible for confirming local requirements before work begins.
10. Stop work when conditions change
Stop operation immediately if control response changes, visibility becomes poor, people enter the area, the machine behaves abnormally, the ground becomes unstable, objects are struck, weather worsens, or any unsafe condition appears.
11. Website information does not replace safety training
Videos, images, application pages, product pages, and website descriptions are provided for general product understanding. They do not replace the supplied manual, operator training, site-specific risk assessment, local legal requirements, or professional safety judgment.
